Day 11: A picture of something you hate.

Ola!

How have you been? I just got home from a very tiring yet wonderful afternoon with the monsters. Yeah monsters who by the way are my BFF, Freaky and Beast. We had dinner at freaky's crib, ate a chocolate cake that proved a gustatory delight, yum yum! And! We played a little bit with Anja.

This day also worried me a lot because aside from the inundation in some of the islands in Luzon, which by the way is one of the three islands of the Philippines. I received a very bad news about my cousin being held hostage for several hours in his work place. A very bad news indeed but the family was relieved hearing the news that nobody got hurt and everything went back to normal after the authorities have settled it. Thank God for it! Crime really is the bane of society.

No to Dependency!
And now, on to my next challenge. The photo depicts the very big NO NO of being dependent. I hate being dependent to about almost everything that I do. And I also don't like it when someone is very dependent on me especially those that I love because I believe that when a person depends a lot to somebody, he loses his initiative and maybe... probably his common sense too. And so because I hate being dependent, I help others to become independent like I do. Especially when they do something. I give ideas but never teach them what to do. Like they said, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish, then you feed him for a lifetime." I like people to learn by their own and experience what they have learned. Experience after all has always been the best teacher.

Before I end today's post. I would like to thank you all for your comments! I appreciate it and I love it!

Smile!
Yen xx

I want caek. It sucks that your cousin was held hostage, but I'm glad it worked out in the end. As for dependency, I depend on people a lot, and yes, it can be pretty annoying and I don't like myself for it much either. At least I can wash my own clothes now.

Glad to hear everything turned out okay. And I agree, it really sucks depending on other people for too much.

Oh, I couldn't agree with this blog any more if I tried. There's nothing worse than being dependant on somebody, you're so right. Glad to hear things have been good anyway.
